The Crescent. Filey and the Crescent Gardens Bandstand. The Crescent is a magnificent row of terraces built in the 1850s and must be very prominent if you are out at sea in Filey Bay on a clear day.

Another shot of Whitby Harbour in nice light, this time taken on the 10th October 2008. In the photo you can see the famous 199 steps which lead diagonally up to the church and abbey.

The Pirate Ship about to enter Bridlington Harbour after one of it's short excursions into the bay. 10/5/2024. I think we'll have a trip on it, the next time we're in the area, as the short trips are very reasonably priced.
