397003 is seen at Lower Green Farm, Acton Bridge with 3Q52 11:06 Carlisle to Manchester International Depot test run. 10/4/2019. A bit of a grab shot, this, as I was assuming it was a Class 68 pushing a Nova set, so I was set up for the going-away shot (see the next image)

397003 heads away from the camera at Lower Green Farm, Acton Bridge forming 3Q52 11:06 Carlisle to Manchester International Depot test run. 10/4/2019. This was the first time I'd seen one of these new EMUs and I have to say, I thought (and still think) that they look pretty good. It was nice to get a shot of one on a stretch of line where they're normally not seen.

68027 Splendid" climbs past Golcar with 1F62 10:41 Scarborough to Liverpool Lime Street. 24/8/2019. This was the first westbound revenue-earning run of the TPE Class 68 and Mk 5 Nova 3 sets. It was great to have these trains running at last, even though they didn't reach their full intended frequency due to the pandemic.

68027 "Splendid" pushes across Milnsbridge Viaduct at the rear of 1E39 13:56 Liverpool Lime Street to Scarborough. 24/8/2019. I thought I'd get this shot in on the first day, as it's ideal for an eastbound service with the Class 68 pushing.
