61245 is about to enter Horsfall Tunnel near Todmorden some time in the 1960s. I'm not sure whether Geoff took this photo, although he could have because he did start taking railway photos in the 1960s. The print didn't have any information written on it when it came to me.

An unidentified Castle class loco pilots a Warship, D846 "Steadfast" up Hemerdon Bank circa 1962. I don't know how rare this kind of working was, but I suspect Geoff had struck lucky. I don't know whether the car (a Vauxhall Velox?) on the right was his transport at the time, but it could well have been.

61360 heads north at Sutton-on-Trent with a goods train in June 1962. I only received a few shots taken by Geoff in BR steam days and this was the only one that could be rescued in processing. The others were either massively under-exposed or had other major faults, mostly caused by the film stock that Geoff had used, which had deteriorated badly in the ensuing years.

51218 stands in Haworth Yard sometime in the 1960s. There's no date on the slide but Haworth Yard looks fairly tidy so I wonder whether this was taken after the railway re-opened.

GNR Class J13, 1247 is seen just outside Haworth Yard with the ex-SE&CR "Matchboard" Brake Third coach some time in the mid-1960s. In the period before re-opening, the Worth Valley held fairly regular open days when the public could see locos in action, and travel a short way up Haworth Loop. Apparently the public were able to wander around at will also. Wouldn't be allowed these days!
