It was just a voice.. and a shadow presence. No particular person I recognize.

The air felt heavy with energy, sending goosebumps to race down my spine.

He spoke in a velvety soft tone. Rich with timber and a touch of an accent. The kind of voice that is compelling and unmistakably alluring, seductive.

"You will arrive without the security of material things, and I will be the one to decide what you may, or may not have."

I felt a hand. The touch no stronger then a whisper yet ever so powerful, brush gently over the top of my head. Slowly, purposefully moving down to my chin. A callused fingertip, brushed over my softly parted lips. As if to silence me.

He whispered once more, the warmth of his breath hot against my cheek...

"Do you understand me?"

and thennnnnnnnnn... I woke up.
