Edit: One of my first on Explore after joining Flickr in 2007. It has never been dropped for some reason. Perhaps Explore has a soft heart after all ;)

Travelling to Wanaka in search of autumn colours I noticed some mist coming up beside the road so stopped the car to investigate and found the river steaming away over the bank. Made from a single RAW exposure with help from Topaz3.

Seen on my drive to work yesterday. This wasn't a walk! Takes 2 hours by car. Just after this I noticed the car sliding a bit and got out to check the tires. Nothing wrong with them but the unsealed road was frozen and I had been sliding on ice. Fortunately driving carefully :-)

After sunrise at the lake I came across a little mist rising as the sun started to warm up the frosted grass.
