Happy and surprised to spot my FOY Philadelphia Vireo today over my lunch break! This is my first "Philly" since 9/22/18 and the first one I've ever seen at the cemetery! I'm surprised I got any keepable photos because this bird was really active and moving quickly among the Cedar trees. Hennepin County, MN 09/17/20

Revisiting this day in late July when the Black Cherry trees were attracting tons of birds. Among them was a Warbling Vireo, the least colorful of our 5 different Vireo species in Minnesota. Though plain looking, it sings a boisterous and cheery "warbled" song that is common in summer time. Hennepin County, MN 07/29/23
