I was able to get out with my good friend and photography buddy Jim Teske to shoot the aurora. Just like last time we shot the northern lights, there were several other photographers along the beach. Thankfully everyone was polite and respectful.

Watching the light change on Gull Lake was just awesome! As the sun started to set and the clouds were moving about, made some amazing colors and patterns in the sky.
I posted a similar picture last year. This was shot a bit earlier but I favored the other as it looked like the sky was on fire.

I got together with my good friend Wayne Moran last week and decided to shoot the Lowry ave bridge. I took virtually the same angle about 9 years ago seen here... www.flickr.com/photos/pauld507/22613863480/in/dateposted/
At first glance I noticed how many new buildings there are since 2015. Other than that, it's almost identical.
It was fun to catch up and talk about life and our passion, photography.

Here is another angle of Eagle Bluff Lighthouse. In full transparency this lighthouse was not lit. I kept waiting to see if the light would come on but no luck so I had to do it myself.
This is the last of my Door County series. If anyone gets a chance to visit, I'd recommend it. So many fun things to do.

After a day of hiking the island and touring the lighthouse, it was fun to come back and night when there were no crowds.
This lighthouse was only about 15 minutes from where we were stayed so it was no problem to come back at night.
This was probably my favorite lighthouse in the Door County area.
