Castle Tioram (Pronounced 'Cheerum') is located on the tidal island of Eilean Tioram near the point where the River Shiel flows into Loch Moidart. The castle dates from the 13th Century and as you can expect, has a great deal of history behind it. Shot with an ageing and now slightly damaged A7Rii.

A strong wind from the west on the most westerly point of the Scottish mainland. A perfect set of conditions for seascape photography. It’s been years since I was on Ardnamurchan. It’s great to be back.
