Winter forest with snow. Cold, cold, cold., in a silent world. Digital infrared.

Nikon D40X (full spectrum modified), Nikon 50mm f/1.8 SE, Hoya R72 filter. The D40X was a low level camera in its heydays and the the vintage "Nikon E" series lenses were the low-level and cheap companions to the little Nikon EM many many moons back in time. Still such items can be put to their intended use, ie. to make compelling photographs. Or so I believe.
