Weather delays had me take a flight with Iberia airlines that flew through Spain on the way back to America one year. An additional delay that even the airlines had no way of expecting made me miss my connection and stranded me for a day in Spain. By the time I got to the hotel I just needed to find something to eat and go to sleep as it had been a long day.

Flights never seem to have a gate until about 30 minutes before boarding will start. I found myself finding a place to sit to watch the monitors so I would know which direction to go.
