The redbud is the state tree of Oklahoma. It is a hearty plant down in Oklahoma and grows just about everywhere. Low maintenance makes it difficult to kill. Good when you want a tree in your yard that doesn't require much effort. Though it is persistent trying to grow near a fence line sometimes. Some mornings it is very pretty too.
