'Thankful for' challenge:
Three things in your life that you are thankful for that were not around when your parents were young. NO pets, family, friends..nothing living..
No such thing as video games in my parents time, but it was something I grew up with. Splatoon is a series my kids and I play on occasion these days (and my daughter has plenty of collectibles of which to include in a shot). So while this one may be Splatoon heavy, I am really thankful for videogames in general (though Splatoon is quite a fun challenge)

Three things in your life that you are thankful for that were not around when your parents were young. NO pets, family, friends..nothing living..
I remember having multiple phones in the house growing up, but they were all attached to a wall. For the longest time the farthest you could get away depended on your cord length. Then we had wireless, but even it had a maximum distance from the base unit. Cellphones these days allow so much flexibility when communicating and I am thankful for all their help in making the world (and even ones community) a little smaller.

Even with the changing of hands and uncertainty of features in the future, I still quite enjoy the community of Flickr. It sure makes the world feel so much smaller when seeing how the seasons, festivals, scenes from all around the globe. From the past to the current. I am quite thankful for all the folks I've met through it as well.
