View from 'Innere Kanalstrasse', one of the main traffic arteries which surround Köln. The rough-construction is almost complete, and the minarettes have reached their final height (55 m).

This is the large conference-room located in the base of the mosque at street-level. Right now it is filled with this forest of steel supports, as the dome above is still full of scaffolding which is resting on the ceiling. An impressive space, augmented by the water on the floor.

View from the top of the dome back down. An impressive bit of scaffolding-work, resulting in that one can not see much of what the interior space will look like.
Clear is, however, that it will be a large space.
