Wild tepin bush that appeared under a tree in the back yard. Although hardier than most chiles, this likely won't survive too many more freezes. For 2015: one photo a day (6/365)

Georgia playing with water from the hose on a very hot day. This is her favorite thing to do, any time, summer, winter, doesn't matter, she loves playing with water from the hose. Unless it's raining. She hates the rain. I haven't figured that part out yet. For 118 pictures in 2018, #18 "dog days". Dog days actually refers to the time of year when Sirius (the "dog star") shines brightly above the horizon, which happens to be late summer in the northern hemisphere.

My Tabasco chile plant has been a late producer this year, but it seems to be coming along fine now. I can only hope these ripen before our first freeze. These will all go into making a batch of hot sauce (yes, the reason it is called Tabasco sauce is because it's made with Tabasco chiles).
