According to the latest news from Mongolian Railway (UBTZ) and China Railway's relative departments negotiating and conducting customer surveys for the resumption of international train K23/24 Ulaanbaatar - Beijing. This route's international passenger services have been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic since March 2020 until today!
It's definitely good news for the international railfans and train travelers📷🚞
In addition, during the international railway forum held in St. Petersburg last September, the MN/CN and RU parties discussed the issue of reviving the Trans-Siberian Express train on the Moscow-Ulaanbaatar-Beijing route. This could be the next important project to restore the Trans-Siberian international route!
