I think we all get to the point where we decide that certain colors, patterns, and materials look and feel best to us. This was somewhat of an experiment, not only with the choice of color, but also the combination of hues within the purple family. I think it works, but at the same time, I’m conscious of not overdoing a good thing, and I don’t think I would wear this out … although I do have a purple coat that would go great with everything! 😂

I wore this for a shopping trip to Nordstrom Rack to try on knee-high boots. I was searching for brown leather boots that fit snugly on the calf, but didn’t find any. I prefer to try on boots in person, since heel height and toe box shape can actually determine the right size (for me it’s usually either a women’s 9.5 or 10, and if I’m lucky, occasionally a 9), so the next outing will probably be to DSW … a boot-lover’s heaven! 👢
