But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
(Isaiah 64:6-7)

The journey to Skye last week took us through Glenshiel. Passing along Loch Cluanie we encountered some fairly thick mist, intermittently concealing completely the roadside and more distant mountains. We stopped near the end of the loch where I was drawn by this thin row of saplings and stones in the near-calm water. I had intended capturing this with the background peaks appearing above the mist but after a far too long, fruitless wait for the upper mist to lift, settled instead for this more intimate capture, isolated entirely from the mist covered surroundings.
