A ghostly wing of the mall nearby the original macy*s. We entered here first and immediately felt the emptiness. Most of this wing was vacated upper and lower levels with some exceptions. The court's sunken pit area was unoccupied and the escalator's hum was haunting.

One of many original wooden benches which integrate with the earthtoned marble and terrazzo floors commonly seen at Taubman malls of this vintage. Thought the mall has changed owners many times, the Taubman origins are in tact.

A familiar monument at Marley Station, "WISH" was the latest in a series of four sculptures crafted by William Crutchfield, commissioned by the mall's original developer A. Alfred Taubman. The testament to humanity and the English language has survived a few decades and many sales of the mall's shuffled ownership and still resides near the JCPenney court.
Crutchfield's other structures reside in other former or currently owned Taubman centers like Westfarms in Connecticut.
