For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration originally premiered at the Premiere Theater in the Streets of America section of Hollywood Studios during the 2014 Frozen Summer Fun and moved into its current location at the Hyperion Theater in Echo Lake in 2015. The show is hosted by two live actors known as the Royal Historians of Arendelle who humorously recount the entire plot of the entire 2013 animated feature, Frozen in 25 minutes, pausing to play the songs from the film with the audience encouraged to sing along with the aid of the on-screen lyrics. The hosts are joined onstage with appearances by Elsa, Anna and Kristoff.

Disney World: Hollywood Studios - Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage, a live Broadway style musical based off the 1991 animated feature, has been showing in the Theater of the Stars on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood Studios since 1991. The current version of the show debuted in 2001.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror opened in 1994 at the end of Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood Studios. With the demolition of the Sorcerer's Hat in 2015, the 199-foot, 13-floor, Hollywood Tower Hotel was promoted to park icon status. In the attraction's premise, guests visit the legendary hotel, once a lively resort for the Hollywood elite, which is now believed to be haunted after it was closed following a lightning accident resulted in the disappearance of several wings and the death of five people in an elevator that plummeted in 1939. After ascending through the floors of the hotel in a motorized elevator car and experiencing a surreal collection of sights and objects, visitors move back into the elevator shaft where a randomly-selected drop sequence begins.

The 50's Prime Time Café opened in Echo Lake at Hollywood Studios in 1989. The restaurant replicates the kitsch of a 1950s diner and the wait staff act as though they are a family member of the guests they are serving. The menu includes nostalgic homespun comfort food like pot roast, fried chicken, meatloaf and milkshakes.
