A view down one of the "minor" passages in the amazing Seville Cathedral (full name, Catedral de Santa María de la Sede/ Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See). At the end of the passageway is one of the 80 chapels contained within the cathedral's walls. Two lovely stained glass windows adorn the walls, and part of one set of organ pipes are on the right.
The cathedral is the 3rd largest in the world. Like many churches in Andalucia it was built on top of a mosque, and incorporates some of the Spanish Muslim architectural elements (e.g. the bell tower, La Giralda).

The northern gate of the Seville Cathedral (Catedral de Santa María de la Sede), la Puerta del Perdón (Gate of Forgiveness) shows well the mix of Moorish and Christian elements that make this building such a gem. The gate with its lovely arch was constructed from the Almohad period in the 11th century. After Seville was taken by the Spanish Christians in the 13th century modifications were made to the gate, including the installation of statues of Saints Peter and Paul (on opposite sides) and a depiction of the expulsion of merchants from the temple.
The gate opens into the Patio de las Naranjas (orange trees), originally established by the Moors.
In the background part of the cathedral is shown with its lovely building adornments, including some gnarly gargoyles, stained glass windows, and flying buttresses.

The gem of Granada and Andalusia, Alhambra glows in the lights at dusk as the clouds dissipate from the Sierra Nevada in the background. The closest buildings were built in the 14th century, and include the Nazrid Palaces on the left and the Alcazaba (main fortress) on the right. In the back on the left are the Christian additions built after the Reconquista in the 17th century, including the Palacio de Carlos V and the Iglesia de Santa María de la Encarnación.
This is a five shot panorama stitched together in Lightroom. The photos were taken from the bell tower of the Saint Nicholas Church (Iglesia de San Nicolas) in the Albaicin district of Granada. Lacking my tripod I had to carefully brace the camera on the frame of the opening of the bell tower, which turned out to be harder than I thought it would be.

The century old Puebloan ruins of South Mule Canyon, commonly called House on Fire, are remarkably well preserved. The origin of the common name is derived from the way the layers of sandstone catch the reflection of the warm colors of light from the fully sunlit sandstone in front of the alcove, thus appearing to be flames emerging from the dwelling. This is a four shot pano to include the three main structures as well as the ceiling. The loosely stacked rocks are small walls recently re-stacked by someone (presumably hikers), based on a survey of past photos of this iconic site.

The Bridge of Holes (Pont des Trous) spans the River Scheldt in Tournai, Belgium. Built between 1281 and 1304, it was part of the protective wall around the city. The bridge has survived the calamities that beset this area near the border with France (it was actually once part of England), but the central span was blown up in world war II. When it was rebuilt in 1948, the central part was raised to facilitate larger boats passing under it. However for many of the river barges it is a very tight fit. The blurred flags flapping in the slight breeze on top are for (r to l) France, the European Union, Belgium, Wallonia (province), and Tournai (I think, not so sure).
post script: Sadly this bridge was demolished on the 5th of August 2019, with the intent to reconstruct it to allow larger barges to travel on the River Scheldt.
