Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation carefully set a girder on to the bridge piers for the new SR 6 Rock Creek Bridge. Each of the six concrete girder weighs approximately 140,000 lbs. and are lowered into place by a pair of mobile cranes. Concrete girders are trucked in and set across Rock Creek near Pe Ell in Lewis County, Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014. Each are approximately 150 feet long, and weigh roughly 140,000 lbs.
