A portion of the Chamber Way overpass over southbound I-5 was demolished Tuesday, July 26.

The span was damaged on Friday, July 22, when an oversized load hit the span.

WSDOT structural engineers performed a thorough inspection and determined most of the girders supporting the span were irreparable.
