Architectural elements called sentinels will mark the ends of the world's longest floating bridge. Inside each of the four sentinels is a steel framework similar to this one.

Crews on the west end of the new SR 520 floating bridge pour concrete to complete the final roadway deck section on the new bridge. Once the concrete is cured, more work remains as crews prepare to open the new bridge to traffic in spring 2016.
