The barge out in the middle of Lake Washington serves as the main base of operations for replacing 32 anchor cables tethered to the I-90 floating bridges.
Along with the camera attached to a diver, crews use an underwater drone of sorts to help guide the diver and see what's going on below the surface.
Spools of brand new cable will replace the worn and weathered cables.
The cable is threaded through pins like this, which is attached to metal beams under ground that anchor the I-90 bridges in place.
Divers decked out in full diving gear go below the surface to replace each individual anchor cable.
