Contractor crews are nearly finished restoring the 1958 Chehalis River Bridge along SR 107 in Montesano. Final paving, striping and guardrail installation will occur through late April 2021, with two-way travel returning as soon as May 3.

Travelers are currently alternating across the bridge using the western, single lane while the east half of the bridge is demolished. In spring of 2020, traffic will be shifted to the newly rebuilt east side of the bridge as the western lane is demolished and constructed.

Final paving along the SR 107 Chehalis River Bridge near Montesano is nearly complete. Doolittle Construction crews will wrap up work the week of May 3 and install final guardrail.

The 1958 SR 107 Chehalis River Bridge located south of Montesano in Grays Harbor county is in need of repairs. This project will replace the timber on the south approach to the bridge, install modern safety rails, and paint the steel structure on the bridge.
