Erected in 1968, the Lyons Ferry Bridge crosses the Snake River in south central Washington, July 17, 2019.

The bridge originally was built to cross the Columbia River at Vantage, Wash., and did so from 1927 until the early 60’s when it was dismantled and placed into storage until it was erected at its current location on State Route 261.
