Our crews take great pride in what they accomplished here to provide a safe and sanitary restroom for travelers. New caulking, skylight sealing and repairs to the sewage system are just some of the many repairs.

Curbing throughout the Custer Rest Area is in rough shape and in need of repair. Maintenance crews are addressing issues like these to improve the rest area. Until these repairs are complete, the Custer Rest Area remains closed to all travelers.

This tree is one of dozens that was removed due to safety concerns. It was evaluated by an arborist and determined to be dying and in need of removal. Until further notice, the northbound and southbound Custer Rest Area along I-5 will be closed to all travelers.
