A project that will improve habitat and passage for fish in Purdy Creek under SR 16 is well under way. Drivers may be seeing large steel structures in the work zone adjacent to eastbound and westbound lanes of SR 16. Crews are assembling the bridge shafts that will eventually be lowered into the ground. The new bridge structures are 206-feet long.
