A large crowd of guys and girls were out in the park, learning a new dance routine. At this very moment their teacher was showing them one particular move. Great fun to watch. I love the diversity of stuff going on in Yoyogi on a Sunday.

I got a nice shot of a woman in Omotesando on Monday, wearing a kimono and with a parasaol. The background was not great and the colours too contrasty in the strong sunlight.

So, a little bit of Photoshop and we have something quite different. This is uncropped from the original.

Black and white/toned effect in Photoshop, with edges faded like an old glass plate. Then faded back to let some of the colour through.

Was out with Arlon, one of my students, today and we were looking at the whole area of exposure. This is one of my fave spots in Yurakucho and we did some shots here using slower shutter-speeds [this was hand-held at 1/6th second]. This spot opposite us was superb: gap in the bridge pillars, constant stream of folk walking past on their way to lunch. Great.

Stood waiting for a train on the Sotetsu Line in Yokohama Station and it was all about the number '15' for a moment.

I was so busy thinking of getting the squirt of water that I didnt get Ami completely in focus. Doh!

Am about to post a screenshot of the before-and-after on this, as it was a nice bit of post-processing. Didn't take me more than five minutes but it worked out nice.
