Samuel Eynon & Sons FTF 703F, a Leyland Titan PD3/4 built 1967 with an East Lancashire H41/32F body stands in store behind Bryn Villa bus depot in Trimsaran. Monday 19th July 1982

Note, FTF 703F was originally operated by Ramsbottom Urban District Council as number 9. Ramsbottom Urban District Council’s operations were transferred to the Northern division of the Selnec Passenger Transport Executive on 1st November 1969, FTF 703F being renumbered 6409 in the Selnec Passenger Transport Executive’s March 1970 renumbering scheme. The Selnec Passenger Transport Executive became the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive on 1st April 1974 due to local government reorganisation. FTF 703F was withdrawn from service in 1980 (after September) and acquired by Lister P.V.S. (a Bolton based dealer) in 1980. It was acquired by Samuel Eynon & Sons (a Trimsaran based operator) in 1980 and retained Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive livery

Note, OTJ 334G was originally operated by Ramsbottom Urban District Council as number 10. Note, HEO 278 was originally operated by Barrow-in-Furness Corporation as number 8, being renumbered 108 in 1970. Barrow-in-Furness Corporation became the Borough of Barrow-in-Furness on 1st April 1974 due to local government reorganisation. HEO 278 was withdrawn from service in 1979 and acquired by Samuel Eynon & Sons later in the same year

Regal IV 9821LT built 1952 with a Metropolitan-Cammell B39F body stands derelict behind Bryn Villa bus depot in Trimsaran with Samuel Eynon & Sons HTJ 134F, a Leyland Leopard PSU4/2R built 1968 with an East Lancashire B45F body alongside. Monday 19th July 1982

Note, MLL 934 was originally operated by the London Transport Executive as number RF297 and was renumbered RF516 in spring 1956. It was converted to a 2RF5/3 class one man operation vehicle in April 1959, the seating being altered from B41F+5. The London Transport Executive was renamed as the London Transport Board on 1st January 1963 and the London Transport Board was renamed as the London Transport Executive on 1st January 1970. MLL 934 was withdrawn from service in March 1979 and acquired by Samuel Eynon & Sons. It was withdrawn from service in November 1979 and retained London Transport Executive livery
