56032 passes through Sowerby Bridge station with 6E41 Arpley to Lackenby "Enterprise". 19/2/99. This was the only EWS-liveried Grid I photted in the Calder Valley, as I'd more or less given up photting in the area by the time they were around, as there was so little freight to be had.

47848 forges north at Helwith Bridge with the diverted 1S46 06:55 Birmingham to Glasgow. 13/3/99. This was another day of mixed weather for S&C diversions. A Deltic passed southbound shortly after this and the shot was a total write-off.
